Agricultural Voices Syria (AVS) Policy Brief
Sussex Sustainability Research Programme (SSRP) launch ‘Agriculture Voices Syria’ (AVS) Policy Brief.
This important and innovative agricultural knowledge-transfer project used accessible media to connect agricultural experts and Syrian farmers in NW Syria, a crisis zone with little access to extension services. Led by Dr Mirela Barbu in collaboration with Prof Martin Spinelli, and Cara Syria Programme colleague and Syrian Academic Expertise (SAE) Director, Dr Shaher Abdullateef, the AVS Policy Brief captures how knowledge can be disseminated in a timely and effective way to the wider community, in this instance, to help address food insecurity and support sustainable practices.
