Cara's 90th Anniversary event at the Royal Society - Presentation by Cara Fellow Khin Thet San, Myanmar

In her presentation, Khin Thet San explained how her plans to return to Myanmar after studying at the Universities of Essex and York were upset first by Covid and then by the 2021 coup in Myanmar.  With Cara’s help she studied as a Research Fellow at SOAS and is now working towards a PhD at Goldsmiths, University of London, researching religious nationalism and human rights in Myanmar.
