Cara's 90th Anniversary event at the Royal Society - Presentation by Professor Miassar Alhasan, President of Al-Sham University

In his presentation, Professor Alhasan, President of Al-Sham University in the non-regime-controlled north-west of Syria, outlined the history of Al-Sham's engagement with Cara's Syria Programme, and the importance of that work in enhancing the calibre of the University's educational and research programmes.  There had already been many notable achievements; he hoped that the connections that Sham had forged with UK universities would grow into solid developmental and research partnerships.
